NYO History
The Nashoba Youth Orchestra (NYO) was founded in 2004 by a dedicated group of professional musicians, music educators, performers, and parents who share a common vision for a high-quality youth orchestra located in the Nashoba Valley region which will serve the needs of motivated musicians throughout the region. NYO currently functions under the not-for-profit umbrella of Westford’s Parish Center for the Arts, in Westford, Massachusetts – a suburban town located northwest of Boston, Massachusetts. The Nashoba Youth Orchestras rehearse at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Westford, Massachusetts and perform at least 2 concerts yearly within the area.
