The Nashoba Youth Orchestra Board of Directors announces a partnership with the Alcyon Chamber Ensemble (ACE) to bring new opportunities for chamber music study to music students and to individuals in the community-at-large. Now entering its fifth season in Winchester, MA, Alcyon presents a concert season of chamber music performances of music for diverse instruments. All members of the ensemble are committed teachers as well as performers.
Anyone interested in playing in a chamber group (duo, trio, quartet or quintet) is invited to register for a placement audition. Group placement will take into account each person’s level of ability. All levels are welcome. Pianists are encouraged to apply. Placement auditions will take place at the beginning of each semester. Coaching of individual groups will begin in October or February. Coaching sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Participant’s tuition includes ten coaching sessions, one dress rehearsal and one recital. Adults are welcome to register as well!

- Cost: $25 placement audition fee; $325 per person ($300 for NYO members).
