The Nashoba Youth Orchestra (NYO) strives to offer young, dedicated musicians
the opportunity to develop advanced ensemble and performance skills
that will enable them to reach their fullest artistic potential through
the study and performance of the world’s finest musical literature.
Musicians through the age of 18 years are welcome to audition. 
Operating from Westford Massachusetts, the Nashoba Youth Orchestra offers the highest quality music making possible in this quaint suburb located northwest of Boston Massachusetts; making this orchestra an attractive alternative to weekend travel to the city.
For musicians who desire more challenge and the potential for
additional recognition, NYO offers various Concerto Competitions and Recitals that are available to current members only. For the concerto competitions, special auditions are held, with winners being featured in a concert during the current season. For the recitals, all members from each of the orchestras are welcome to perform repertoire of their choosing, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Recitals are held as time allows.
The Alcyon Chamber Ensemble (ACE), in partnership with NYO, is excited to bring new opportunities for chamber music study to music students and to individuals in the community-at-large, including NYO members. Now in its fourth season in Winchester, MA, Alcyon presents a concert season of chamber music performances of music for diverse instruments.
